(You observed silence for years disregarding worldly activities)
પામ્યા જગદંબા દર્શન, સમાધિમાં પ્રભુનું સ્પર્શન્
Pāmyā jagdambā darshan, samadhimā prabhunu sparshan
(You attained the blessed vision of the Divine Mother and direct contact with the Divine in samadhi)

યાત્રાઓ અણમોલ કરી, માતાજીને શાંતિ ધરી

(You went on many pilgrimages and fulfilled your mother's desire)
પ્રભુરૂપ બનીને વિહર્યા, પ્રકાશને દેતાં વિચર્યા

પ્રવચન લેખનથી અણમોલ, સેવા કરી કહે તે કોણ

પરદેશ મહીં ધર્મ પ્રચાર, કર્યો જઈને વારંવાર

ધન, ધરા, રમા મુક્ત રહ્યા, આદર્શ પરમ દિવ્ય ગ્રહ્યા
Dhan, dharā, ramā mukta rahyā, adarsha param divya grahyā
(You stayed away from the passions of fame, money and women thereby depicted supreme principles)
રાય તથા રંક તણા ભેદ, તમને અડતા ન લવલેશ.
Rāy tathā rank tanā bhed, tamne adta nā lavlesh
(You treated poor and rich alike and never favored anybody)
જ્ઞાનમૂર્તિ સંપૂર્ણ તમે, વેદ બધા સપ્રેમ નમે.

દૈવી સંપત્તિ સ્વામી, નિર્ગુણ નાગર નિષ્કામી.

રિધ્ધિ સિધ્ધિના દાતા, ગુણ પ્રભુના નિશદિન ગાતા.

નિર્મળતા ટપકે નૈને, તેજસ્વી ભરતાં પ્રેમે.

મુખ મંડળ પર મધુર પ્રસાદ, દૂર કરે સઘળોય વિષાદ.

ક્રાંતિ ભરેલી છે કાયા, શાંતિ તણી જાણે છાયા.
Krānti bhareli chhe kāya, shānti tani jane chhāya
(your figure is beaming with brilliance and You carries peace along with)
તપથી તૃપ્ત થયાં અંગાંગ, રસમાં સ્નાન કરે સર્વાંગ
Tapthi tapta thayā angang, rasmā snān kare sarvāng
(You purified yourself with rigorous penance; You're submerged in heavenly state)
શ્વેત વસ્ત્રો ને ઋષિનો વેશ, અહંકાર તો ના લવલેશ.
Swet vastro ne rushino vesh, ahankār no nā lavlesh
(Your white costume reminds us of Rishies; You've won over your ego)
જોતાં વેંત જ આદર થાય, પ્રેમ પ્રગટતાં સંશય જાય
Jotā ventaj ādar thāy, prem pragatatā sanshay jāy
(Your mere glance awakens admiration & your acquaintance removes all doubts)
મધુર ચલન ને મધુર વચન, મધુર દ્રષ્ટિ ને મધુર વદન.
Madhur chalan ne madhur vachan, madhur dasti ne madhur vadan
(Your every movement and every utterance is filled with sweetness; Your face and your eyes are honeysweet)
મધુમય ભાવ વિચાર તથા, શમાવતા સર્વત્ર વ્યથા.
Madhumay bhāv vichār tathā, shamāvtā sarvatra vyathā
(Your thoughts and emotions are noble and sublime, it eliminates gloom)
વસંત ઋતુની જેમ ફરે, મંગલ સૌનું સદા કરે
Vasant rutuni jem fare, mangal saunu sadā kare
(You rejuvenates and revives everybody like a spring)
નવજીવન દે, શાંતિ ધરે, ત્રિતાપને તત્કાળ હરે.
Navjivan de shanti dhare, tri-tāpane tatkāl hare
(You revitalize people with peace; You wipes out their pains and miseries)
તારા તપે અનેક નભે, સૂર્ય ચંદ્ર પણ એક જ છે

જ્ઞાન ધ્યાન ભકિત વૈરાગ્ય, આતમનો આપો અનુરાગ

(Give us knowledge, concentration, devotion and renunciation; Open the treasures of our soul)
કરો પવિત્ર સદા અમને, પ્રાર્થીએ નિશદિન તમને
Karo pavitra sadā amane, prārthiye nishdin tamane

ભુલીએ નિજરૂપ નહીં, લિપ્ત બનીએ નહીં કહી
Buliye nijrup nahin, lipta baniye nahin kahin

નિર્મમ નિરાસક્ત સઘળે, તારો જીવન તેમ તરે

રચના સમયના મનોભાવો
બાવન લીટીઓનું પદ તે બાવની. ગુજરાતમાં દત્તબાવની પ્રચલિત છે, જેમાં દત્તાત્રેયના જીવનમાં કૃપાકાર્યોનું વર્ણન છે. અહીં પણ એ રીતનું પદ લખાયું, જેમાં અમારા સદગુરુ પૂજ્ય શ્રી યોગેશ્વરજીના જીવનની કથા વણી લેવાઈ છે.
પૂજ્ય શ્રી યોગેશ્વરજીની કઠિન સાધના, તેનાં પરિણામો, વળી તેઓશ્રીનો માતૃપ્રેમનો આદર્શ, જીવનકાર્ય, પહેરવેશ અને વિવિધ પ્રતિભાની એક ઝલક આ પદમાં વણાઈ ગઈ છે. આ પદમાં સમર્થ સદગુરુને ચરણે થયેલી સાત્વિક પ્રાર્થનાઓ પણ જોવા મળશે. સાચો સાધક સમર્થ સદ્ ગુરુ પાસે શું માંગે ? ધન ? ના. એ તો જીવનમુક્તદશા માંગે. વળી, પ્રભુપંથે નડતા વિક્ષેપોને દૂર કરીને પવિત્રતા, ભક્તિભાવ, જ્ઞાનવૈરાગ્ય માંગે, જેથી જીવનનું મંગલ થઈ શકે.
આ પદના પાઠથી કોઈ સાંસારિક ઈચ્છાઓ પૂર્ણ ના પણ થાય, છતાં શાંતિ તો મળે જ. સાધનક્ષેત્રે આવતી જડતા ઓછી થાય અને જીવનનું સાચું સંરક્ષણ સાંપડી શકે.
આ પદના ગુજરાતમાં વિવિધ સ્થળોએ ચાલતાં ધ્યાનકેન્દ્રોમાં ઘણીવાર ગવાય છે. એમાંથી સાધકો પ્રેરણા, શાંતિ તથા માર્ગદર્શન મેળવે છે.

Bavani is fifty two lines of worship. It is a unique form of devotional song. In Gujarat, Dutt Bavani composed by Shri Rang Avdhoot Maharaj became immensely popular and is today sung in countless houses.
Maa Sarveshwari in her own way offered this unique 52 lines of worship to her spiritual master, Shri Yogeshwarji. Being a gifted poetess, Maa has delicately wove various facets of Yogeshwarji in this offering. Beginning from Yogeshwarji's birth at Saroda, the Bavani illustrates works of Yogeshwarji and his qualities in this easy to sing verse.
Created in 80's in the presence of Shri Yogeshwarji, this bavani has found place in daily routine of all the devotees of Shri Yogeshwarji across the globe. The beauty of this Bavani is that it can be sung in different styles.
